Amherst House is a lovely 2-3 bedroom cottage (sleeping 4-6, plus 2 little ones), set within the Grade II listed stable courtyard amid the 850 acres of forest, parkland and farm grounds at the beautiful Stowlangtoft Estate in Suffolk.

The cottage interior is smart and contemporary. Guests enter from the courtyard, or directly through the patio doors that open onto views of the woodland. The generous ground floor living space comprises a useful lobby area, with plenty of room for coats and shoes, a huge and airy kitchen/diner, with further patio doors opening onto long decked south facing balcony, a comfortable living room with all new furnishings, plus sofa bed; a brand new shower room with over sized shower and sensor lighting. Upstairs the space has been cleverly used. The two double bedrooms (one with zip and link twin/super king) have ample storage and quirky triangular windows. A further family bathroom, with bath and over bath shower. Finally, leading on from the double bedroom is a bonus room which is ideal fro a cot and has a single bed, with a pull out second bed for the children to sleep in.

The cottage boasts contemporary luxuries in the form of IPod Dock, DVD, flat screen TV and Wi-Fi, along with a dishwasher, microwave and washing machine with the usual appliances in the fully fitted kitchen. The kitchen balcony leads straight onto the beautiful semi walled mature garden.

The Coach House is a pretty 3 bedroom (sleeps 6-8) cottage set in 850 acres of woodland and parkland. Although wonderfully rural, the cottage and its courtyard neighbours, is brilliantly convenient too. There's wonderful walking and cycling, with bikes for hire on site, plus a restaurant in the courtyard (Fri and Sat evenings only) and Bury St Edmunds, Cambridge and a whole host of fantastically pretty coastal towns and villages within a short drive. Add to that fully qualified babysitting and a handy list of baby and toddler gear on hand and the result is a brilliant rural retreat for any pre school family.

Formally the Estate's stables and grooms quarters the Coach House now has a contemporary open plan living design. The lounge, dining area and kitchen is huge with a light bright feel thanks to its patio doors to the private terrace and double height ceilings with sky lights. The huge family bathroom, shared by the two twin bedrooms is also very spacious and two of the three bedrooms roomy enough for a cot a piece.

The interiors are country contemporary with neutral colour schemes and comfortable modern furnishings, plus all mod cons including dishwasher, washer dryer and microwave in the kitchen, plus TV, DVD and HiFi system in the lounge.

Outside, private patio area, perfect for dining outdoors on a warm evening ( a BBQ is available from the owners) and larger communal gardens spread out to the left of the house.
