Mildenhall has numerous restaurants in the town and shopping. There is a large indoor swimming pool and nearby a major sports and fitness facility ay the Dome Leisure Centre. RSPB sites nearby are at Lakenheath Fen and Lackford Lakes West Stow and Grimes Graves (Stone Age sites) are a short drive. High Lodge and Brandon Park offer country activities for all ages, walkers and cyclists are very welcome. Cycle storage available. Children welcome from any age.

The Coach House Details

• Cottage sleeps up to 4
• The Coach House accommodation is all on the ground floor and has easy access with wide doors throughout. The front door leads into the large south facing sitting room which looks over the patio and courtyard. It has elevations into the high roof and lots of windows to catch the sun. This room is fully furnished with a lovely oak floor and Chinese rug.
  
  The large comfy sofa converts into a double bed with thick mattress and can offer additional sleeping space. If this option is used, to avoid having to go through the main bedroom, a separate toilet and hand basin is available through the shared utility room, which is adjacent to the sitting room.
  
  The shared utility (originally a Stable) houses the freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer as well as the downstairs toilet / utility cloakroom.
  
  The kitchen is in the original Coach House and is accessed from the sitting room. It is fully fitted and offers a spacious cooking and dining/breakfast room. There is separate storage for luggage.
  
  The huge bedroom has twin or a super king bed and room for a smaller 'Z' bed if required. The large en-suite bathroom has a corner bath with shower, hand basin and WC.
  
  All doors are wide enough for wheelchair access.

The Stables Details

• Cottage sleeps up to 4+1
• The Stables front door leads into an oak floored hallway with large under stairs storage or play area. The wide staircase with a hayloft 'window' halfway up, leads to the two first floor en-suite bedrooms. There is access from the hallway to the shared utility (originally a Stable) which has freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer plus a downstairs toilet /utility / cloakroom. The other door leads into the large sunny sitting/dining room and on into the kitchen - the old Tack Room.
  
  The sitting room has leather sofa and armchair with pouffe, and table with 4 dining chairs. A gas fire for chilly evenings. The west facing, fully insulated, glass wall from floor to roof level makes the sitting room and bedroom above very bright and offers lovely views over the courtyard and gardens.
  
  One bedroom, overlooking our one acre garden, has a king sized bed and en-suite bathroom with bath and shower attachment, hand basin and WC. The other bedroom has twin or super king bed with en-suite shower, hand basin and WC. There is plenty of cupboard / clothes hanging space and enough room to add the 'Z' bed if required.
  
  The original high hayloft doors have been converted to provide additional lighting whilst still looking like the old doors from outside. Floors are either pine, oak or Italian ceramic tiles throughout with attractive rugs.
