Explore Needham Market, Suffolk
Needham Market is a small town set in the Gipping Valley. The High Street is a designated conservation area and most of the buildings are Grade II listed. Look out for the 17th century Old Grammar School and the former Quakers' Meeting House. The 15th century church posseses a superb hammerbeam roof. For those in search of outdoor pursuits, Needham Lake offers walks, fishing and picnic areas.
For a day of family fun make sure you stop by Baylham House Rare Breeds Farm, a working livestock farm breeding rare breeds of cattle, sheep, goats, poultry and pigs. Feed the animals, enjoy the Suffolk countryside and visit the gift shop, and when exhausted take a break in the shaded picnic area.
