Details

The open plan first floor living area is comfortably furnished and has French windows and a small balcony overlooking acres of open countryside. The well equipped galley kitchen has oven, fridge and microwave. A twin bedroom on the first floor has en-suite bathroom with basin and WC, while on the ground floor off the good sized entrance hall is another twin bedroom, and a shower/wet room with basin and WC. Outside is a large grassed area with picnic table, and there is designated parking. Holly Farm is in an attractive rural location, close to Alton Water, Dedham Vale 'Constable Country', Sutton Hoo, Jimmy's Farm, and many miles of beautiful river and coastline. A lovely spot for a holiday.

Water sports and Bike Hire at Alton Water Reservoir (5 miles long) 1 mile. Horse riding approx. 3 miles. 'Jimmy's Farm', Golf Driving Range and Dry Ski School approx. 2.5 miles. Constable Country and Dedham Vale approx. 5 miles. A washing machine and tumble dryer are available at house for use by guests. Children welcome from any age.

By Road:
On A137 at Brantham Bull take B1080 to Stutton. Approx half mile after village sign, turn left into Bentley Lane (if you see Kings Head Pub you have overshot). After half mile Holly Farm entrance on left on sharp bend marked with chevron road signs.

By Public Transport:
Manningtree Station 5 miles, Ipswich Station 6 miles.

London Liverpool Street from Manningtree Station takes just over an hour. Good train service.
We don not recommend staying at The Lookout without a car or bicycles.
