Jump on board for this year's Maritime Ipswich Festival. A salty feasting that celebrates the Waterfront's remarkable nautical heritage that extends back to the Anglo Saxons and its recent transformation into a buzzing centre for culture and fine foods. If you know it, you'll love it. If you don't, then now's the time to dip your toe in the water! Enjoy the cornucopia of live traditional bands, dancing, stalls, food, beer festival, visiting vessels, fireworks on Saturday night, and the opportunity to sail down the River Orwell on a historic sailing barge on Sunday.
