Throughout the year the pub is open from 11am-11pm (except Sundays and Bank Holidays, opening hours 12-10.30pm), whilst traditional, hearty food is served 12-3 and 6-9pm.

We have a range of flexible, refurbished accommodation, including spacious family rooms, which are available for you to check in from 2pm with last arrivals at 11pm.

The Ship is situated only 100 paces from the beach, half way between the popular resorts of Aldeburgh and Sothwold. Our proximity to the RSPB reserve in Minsmere makes The Ship an ideal venue for a bird and nature spotting break. A good range of maps, local information and nature guidebooks are available for guests to borrow, although in Summer you may just want to relax on the beautiful, shingle beach.
