Educational Visits at Ipswich Transport Museum01473 715666workEducational VisitsThe museum houses a collection of around 100 major exhibits, all of which were made or operated in the Ipswich area, including an electric tram, trolleybuses and fire engines. There are educational programmes for Key Stages 1 and 2 children. For KS1 - we provide a guided tour looking at firefighting and the history of bicycles and buses. For KS2 - our "Michael's Mystery" project involves solving a robbery committed in 1950.

By Road: A14 jct 57, nearside lane of slip road, head towards town centre. At large roundabout take 2nd exit, pass Esso station on right. At keep left bollard turn right into Lindbergh Road, becomes Cobham Road. Museum is on the left.
