Our Floating Glamping pods and houseboats, along with Secret Garden Glamping Pod ( the one in a field with a fire-pit and an eco hot-tub ), make the perfect place for you, your loved ones and your friends to make the space to create magical memories and escape the everyday. You can bring the river to life.
Floating and nestling on the Broads National Park in the Suffolk market town of Beccles, where people and nature coexist seamlessly, on the beautiful River Waveney.
Pets are welcome on all houseboats, and Secret Garden, but Wild Cat and Secret Water are pet free.
You can make stories together through shared experiences on the river, using your own private rowing boat included in your holiday, or adding a SUP lesson or a guided canoe tour.
Private parking is available, yours will be named after your chosen hideaway, and trollies are provided to push your luggage with ease.
In partnership with the Relish Cafe, holiday hampers and picnics can be provided, tantalising your tastebuds with what the local area has to offer.
Why not treat yourself, take some timeout from cooking and indulge in some local tastes with many award winning flavours nearby, from Neapolitan pizza to full English roasts.

By car: approaching from Norwich, at the roundabout with the services drive straight over. Almost immeadiatley there is a brown sign pointing right to Gillingham, turn right here and follow the road round th bend. Drive past the marshes on your left and as you see the sign to change your speed to 30slow down and indicate. Just beore this sign on the left hand side is the entrance to the boatyard.
By public transport: The Norwich bus stops just over the old Beccles bridge, before you went over the bridge you will have seen the boatyard on the right. When you alight, turn around and walk on the same side of the road, over the bridge, past DerbyÕs Quay and you will find us on your right hand side.
By train, alight at Beccles station. Outside the station walk over the roundabout and straight up the road into Beccles. At the traffic lights walk straight up on the pavement into Beccles Town Centre. At the corner with Durrnats the estate agents, turn right and follow the road down, past Beatles and the gym on your right, then cross over at the bus station and walk down the beautiful Northgate street. At the bottom of Northgate cross over at the Beccles sign post and turn left, walk over Beccles old bridge which is in sight, and stay on the right hand side. Walk past DerbyÕs Quay and then you will find us a short distance after on th right hand side. This walk will take 20/25 minutes, unless you stop en route at one of a Beccles lovely cafes for a coffee.
