Situated within the private grounds of Athelington Hall in the North Suffolk countryside, our log cabins are the perfect reason to escape the pressures of urban life and embrace a well-earned mini-break. Moreover, our log cabins can also be used as a base to explore the nearby Suffolk Heritage Coast and the Norfolk Broads.

Log Cabin Holidays are suitable for honeymoon couples and families, children and pets have plenty of safe space to run around and explore. We can provide an idyllic, quiet break in the Suffolk countryside and are close to Norfolk and the heritage coast. The Log Cabin site is secluded and peaceful, and is great for special birthdays and occasions. The atmosphere at Log Cabin Holidays is one of the more romantic areas in East Anglia, a truly unique experience in the UK.

Athelington Hall a working farm, which dates back to 1620, is situated in an idyllic location in North Suffolk, the surrounding area being a haven for wildlife. Wonderful walks in unspoilt countryside unfold virtually from the doorstep.

We are a small family run business, with seventeen log cabins onsite. All our cabins have their own private hot tub sunken into the veranda and some have a sauna too! Eleven out of our seventeen cabins are pet friendly, so the whole family can come along for the break!

We have five Athelington Lodges. These are 2 bedroomed lodges, one double with en-suite shower room, one twin bedroom and a full bathroom. All of which feature a cosy lounge, with sofa bed and dining area, as well as a kitchen.

We have six Field View cabins. A choice of either a 1 bedroom or 2 bedroom option. The 1 bedroom options make for a perfect romantic getaway or even a honeymoon, as they feature either a stunning four poster bed or a luxurious king wing backed bed, complete with sauna. Two of our two-bedroom units also have a sauna.

We have a variety of luxurious new lodges available, with the largest sleeping up to 6 people in 3 bedrooms. These are called our Primrose cabins. You can pick from a 1, 2 or 3 bedroom option. The lodges come with lavish king size beds, gorgeous bathrooms including a sauna and are beautifully situated within countryside views.

All our lodges have an open plan living area with modern furnishings. This design combines contemporary décor with functional and fashionable living within rustic surroundings.
