Kessingland Beach

The beach at Kessingland is an expanding asset, due to an annual build up of sand and shingle.

Description
Description

The beach reflects the original fishing village character of Kessingland, with the fishing boats still drawn up onto the beach, which is just south of the award area. Kessingland boasts considerable self-catering holiday accommodation whose visitors enjoy this rural beach, which is at the northern end of the Suffolk Coastal path. The village pub provides a central feature close to the beach. The beach Guardian and village community take considerable pride in their beach, providing an effective early warning system for any potential problems.
