Easter events in Suffolk
Easter is one of the highlights of the year for many people, not least because it's a religious holiday. And apart from the cute floppy-eared, cuddly icon, we've all come to associate with Easter, this time of the year carries with it the promise of warmer weather and the opportunity to escape our normal daily routine for a few days.
So, we have set ourselves the task of finding the best all-time Easter Egg Hunts, adult-only activities and ways to avoid the sugar-rush. Chocs away!

1. The Great Felixstowe Museum Easter Egg Hunt (17th April)

2. Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt at Melford Hall (19th - 22nd April)
Follow the Bunnies around the garden as they take a trip to the seaside, explore the beaches and solve clues to gain the ultimate prize: a Cadbury Chocolate Easter Egg. Also, if your little ones love a spot of colouring or competiting in races, then hang around for the annual Egg and Spoon race (costs £9-£16 and for all ages).

3. Cadbury Easter Egg Hunts at Ickworth House and Gardens (from 6th April)
Follow bunny's paw prints to find all of nature's building materials, then add your finds to his den at the end to win a chocolate prize! Entry to the Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt is £2.50. Combine it with craft activities for an extra £1.50 per child.

4. Easter Egg Hunt and newborn lambs at the Museum of East Anglian Life (6th -22nd APRIL)

5. Easter like a tudor at Kentwell Hall (19th - 22nd April)
Experience what Easter was like at Kentwell Hall during Tudor times with 100 costumed Tudors portraying life in 1539 through their daily chores of baking. Join the giant Egg Hunt, find clues and crack the code to win a yummy reward! And with Easter comes craft-making, competitions, outdoor games and getting up close to your favourite animals: lambs, piglets and ponies. Bonus - under 5s go free!
