The Museum of East Anglian Life is a 75 acre open air museum, situated in the heart of Stowmarket. Consisting of 15 historic buildings and collections of over 40,000 objects telling the story of East Anglia through the ages.
Explore nearly 3km of woodland and riverside nature trails, learn about fascinating East Anglian crafts, traditional Gypsy culture, steam engines and rare breed animals.
The Museum also has just opened the newly refurbished traditional Queen Anne Style house Abbots Hall. Abbots Hall has 9 exhibition rooms with displays exploring the ideas of home and belonging in East Anglia.
On site cafe The Osier serves up traditional home made food, as well as a delicious selection of tea and cakes.
