Celebrating Tourism Trade Fair - Thursday 12 October 2017

 Visit Suffolk is working with Bury St Edmunds and Beyond and Discover Newmarket to host the first Celebrating Tourism Trade Fair.

The event, which is one of many in the line-up at the West Suffolk Business Festival 2017, will enable businesses in the tourism trade to network and collaborate on future marketing plans.

The Athenaeum, which is in the centre of the historic town of Bury St Edmunds is the venue, with the event taking place between 5 and 7pm.  To attend, please register for your free ticket here

Visit Suffolk Business Confidence Survey June 2017

This edition of the Business Confidence Monitor covers recent performance between Easter and May bank holidays.  It also measures confidence levels for the period up to the end of the summer holidays.

71% of business are confident about their immediate future with 74% reporting a good level of advanced bookings.

The EADT EDP Norfolk and Suffolk Tourism Awards 2018 are now open for entries!

It’s no secret that tourism is a major contributor to Norfolk and Suffolk’s economies.  The value of the sector to both counties cannot be underestimated, whether from a job creation point of view or simply providing an unforgettable holiday destination experience for a family.
The region is blessed with an abundance of attractions including miles of beautiful coastline, the magnificent Broads and some stunning rural countryside. It really does have it all.
The Norfolk and Suffolk Tourism Awards 2018 is a celebration of all the region has to offer and looks to reward companies and individuals who live and love the place they call home.
This is the 14th year of celebrating the awards in Norfolk, but the first time the two counties are being merged.

As a Tourism businesses within Norfolk or Suffolk, now is your opportunity to shout about your achievements and get yourself heard! Or if you are a regular visitor of a tourism attraction, have a favourite Independent Hotel, or family event or many more, please let us know!
