Visit Suffolk autumn campaign 2017

Autumn campaign ‘You. Unplugged’ is a big hit!

Driving more visits outside of the peak periods is a key objective for Visit Suffolk and the latest autumn campaign demonstrates just that, as well as successfully showcasing Suffolk as the ideal short break destination by focusing on its uniqueness and wealth of tourist attractions, quality places to stay and beautiful vistas, towns and villages.

From the ‘Foodie County’ to family fun and active outdoors, our mission is to highlight Suffolk’s accessibility within a 2-3 hour drive time, targeting London and the Midlands. Continuing with our ‘You.Unplugged’ brand, we created a compilation film to highlight our best bits, which was then promoted through Sky Adsmart and ITV Hub, the UK’s largest on-demand channel, and directing potential visitors to our website for inspiration through bespoke blog content and Suffolk films.

So far, we have reached nearly 500,000 people of those areas we targeted and increasing daily! Watch this space for further updates!

Screen Suffolk needs your help!

Making Suffolk the most film-friendly county means a lot more than creating a film office. It means having film-friendly businesses, hotels and services that actively welcome productions; it means having an easy way to look up a wide range of services and locations available in the county; and it means having a film office with all of the above at its fingertips. It also means inspiring the next generation of film-makers and photographers and giving them opportunities to gain experience in the industry, here in Suffolk.
