Details

Find Sarah and Emma, two specialist photography conservators, in our Discovery Room in Tranmer House and learn how they stabilize precious photographs. Sarah and Emma will be taking care of our Lack and Wagstaff photos. These photographs were taken during the 1939 excavation. The photos give us a detailed insight into how the outline of the ship looked and how the archaeological team worked onsite. You can find out more about Mercie Lack and Barbra Wagstaff in the dining room of Tranmer House.
