While every restaurant worthy of the name is nowadays sourcing local and traceable foods, Executive Head Chef Simon Barker makes a point of visiting farms and butchers himself. So, you will find yourself eating venison from the Denham Estate; pork from Dingley Dell Farm (just outside of Wickham Market); and asparagus from Easton Farm (slightly farther up the Heritage Coast).
Wine is sourced from half a dozen different suppliers: there is everything from an everyday Australian chardonnay to a vintage rose champagne on the list. More than 30 different wines are available by the glass - and thanks to a very sophisticated wine preservation system, every glass tastes as good as the first out of the bottle.
Open for Breakfast, Lunch, Afternoon Tea and Dinner. It’s the perfect place to watch the world go by.
