Transylvania has been a melting pot for many cultures for hundreds of years, Romanians, Germans from Saxony, Hungarians, Rom and Jews and the stories reflect this. This talk will include Romanian wonder tales, local legends and folk tales told to him by people who have lived there for generations. Meet the Iele, the Zmeu, Muma Padurii, Faurul Pamantului (the blacksmith of the Earth) and many other figures from Romanian folklore. There will be an opportunity to ask John questions.
