Details

Colour and texture are everywhere in the varied planting of Natalie Finch's garden in East Bergholt and the borders at Flatford Mill. There is a relaxed but focused atmosphere on this course - you can wander with a sketchbook or settle down to paint, perhaps looking along a path or through an archway. Demonstrations will be given in pencil and pen drawing, watercolour, gouache and combinations of these techniques, with individual help always available. A little experience of working outside is useful. Fees are inclusive of entry and refreshments in the garden.

Jennifer Andrews is a freelance painter and designer, who is also responsible for the wonderful array of colours, textures and scents found in the Flatford Mill gardens throughout the year. Her eye for colour and form enhances her garden creations around the FSC Flatford Mill and provides valuable insight to those wishing to develop their own colourful vision.
