Details
This course, by one of our regular Associate Tutors, is especially designed for those with at least a little experience of working in watercolour. You will be able to go out and about to sketch, paint and photograph the buildings and landscape around Flatford Mill and then come back to the studio to turn all the information gathered from sketchbooks and prints of digital images into finished paintings - with lots of help and individual tuition along the way. See also 5- 9 Aug for an opportunity to extend your stay to a full week working with Rob. If you attend both courses, we offer you a 10% discount on each of them.
Rob Dudley is a professional artist, qualified teacher and much in-demand as a popular demonstrator. He has over 20 years' experience in teaching art at all levels. He approaches each person's needs at a highly individual level and is perfectly happy working with beginners as well as more experienced painters.
We have 78 beds over 25 bedrooms. Our dining room can cater for up to 60 people at a time. We have 5 classrooms, all with interactive whiteboards. Guests can also use our library and recreation room. We also have extensive grounds including river frontage, our own island, woods, reedbeds, open fields and meadows.
