Details

Grundisburgh Hidden Gardens is in its twenty-ninth year and we are delighted to have a real mix of gardens open this year, ranging from cottage and formal gardens, sculpture garden and woodland. Water features in a number of gardens, both formally, in ponds and fountains, as well as informally, in the waterway that runs through a large parts of Grundisburgh village, including the Green.

Tickets last all weekend and include entry into an art exhibition held in the grounds of Grundisburgh House, featuring the work of some exciting Suffolk artists including ceramicists Sophie Cook and Cathy Outen, sculptor Paul Bruce, painters Julia Heseltine, Michaela Latham and Martin Coe, and environmental artist Nicola Coe. Bird enthusiast and local painter Reg Snook has kindly donated a watercolour to be sold over the weekend.

As well as some delightful walks around all three villages, Grundisburgh village green will host a plant sale courtesy of Katie’s Garden. There are teas and snacks in the Parish Rooms, a cake sale and a special menu available throughout the weekend at the village pub, The Dog.
