Framlingham Gala Fest Monday is the traditional afternoon of family fun on the meadow in front of the stunning Framlingham Castle.

There will be something for everyone, young or old, to enjoy as soon as the gates open at Noon, including acts to watch, live music, games, races, trade stalls plus food and drink.

Refreshments on the day will include a freshly cooked paella, a BBQ and bar with various alcoholic drinks available, ice cream and doughnuts.

By car: In Framlingham on B1116. Parking charges apply to non-members. Parking free for members. Car park is 300 metres from the entrance of the castle. Room for 30 cars on gravel and there is an overflow car park on the opposite side of the road.

All ground floor areas within castle walls are level compacted gravel surfaces. Exhibition has level access (within Workhouse). Steep spiral stairs to upper floors and wall walk. Earthworks beyond the castle accessed via rough tracks and very undulating ground. For set down there is single track road to the entrance to the castle. Will require reversing 300m. Please call in advance.
